  • California Agricultural Aircraft Association board approves Freedom Aero Service Inc.
  • Lincoln, CA (July 2010)-California Agricultural Aircraft Association (CAAA) board approves Freedom Aero Service’s membership.  For over 80 years, aerial application has been protecting America’s food and fiber.  The CAAA represents approximately 300 specialized pilots and is the type of organization that Freedom Aero Service enjoys supporting.

  • Hawker Beechcraft  Approves Freedom Aero Service Inc.
  • Lincoln, CA (December 2009)-Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, in accordance with its Supply Chain Quality Assurance requirements, approved Freedom Aero Service Inc. as a supplier of aeronautical parts, materials, assemblies, and services.

    Scott Durham, President of Freedom Aero Service Inc., had this comment: “We are very pleased to join the HBC family of suppliers.  It is always satisfying to have someone with Hawker Beechcraft’s credentials scrutinize our company’s quality system and practices and find them to be of very high standards.  We are happy to have HBC join our growing list of customers.”

  • Esterline Sensors Group Approves Freedom Aero Service Inc.
  • Lincoln, CA (October 2009)- Freedom Aero Service Inc. has been approved as a vendor  to Inspect, test and distribute aircraft indicators, pressure transducers, position transmitters, and resistance thermometers. Esterline Corporation is a specialized manufacturing company serving principally aerospace and defense markets. Operations within the Avionics & Controls segment focus on technology interface systems for commercial and military aircraft and similar devices for land- and sea-based military vehicles, secure communications systems, specialized medical equipment, and other high-end industrial applications.

  • American Eurocopter Approves Freedom Aero Service Inc.
  • Lincoln, CA (August 2009)- Freedom Aero Service Inc. has been approved as a vendor by  American Eurocopter.  American Eurocopter is the U.S. subsidiary of Eurocopter – the largest helicopter manufacturer in the world – and a business unit of EADS North America, the North American operations of the world’s second largest aerospace and defense firm, EADS. This certification demonstrates Freedom Aero Service’s dedication to expanding capabilities and proves itself as a company that will listen to the customer and act on industry needs.

  • EASA Approves Freedom Aero Service Inc.
  • Lincoln, CA (April 2009)- Freedom Aero Service Inc. is pleased to announce it has received EASA Part-145 Approval.  The California-based repair station was already granted FAA Part 145 approval in January of this year.  Scott Durham, president of Freedom Aero Service Inc. said, “We are very pleased to have earned EASA Part-145 Approval.  This means articles repaired in our shop are eligible for installation on European Union certificated aircraft.  We have customers in England, Germany, and Scandinavia that have been waiting for this approval.  It means they are now able to send their components to us for repair.  It also allows our domestic customers that sell overseas to stock parts repaired by Freedom knowing they are approved for EU aircraft.”  Freedom specializes in the repair and sales of instruments and electrical accessories aimed at the corporate jet and helicopter markets.  For more information please contact Freedom Aero Service Inc. at 916.434.5194.

  • Freedom Aero Service Receives FAA Certification
  • Lincoln, CA (January 2009) – Freedom Aero Service Inc. is pleased to announce it has been established as an FAA approved Repair Station. Approval came as the FAA issued Freedom Aero Service its Air Agency Certificate. Founded in July 2008, Freedom Aero Service specializes in the repair and overhaul of aircraft components, specifically electrical and electronic accessories, and instruments. They also offer sales of these aviation products to civil and government organizations. The company’s MRO business is focused on business jets and helicopters.

     Freedom Aero Service’s knowledgeable staff has over 150 years of combined experience. They are highly skilled in every element of instrument and accessory sales and service for both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. President and Operations Manager, Scott Durham, states that Freedom Aero Service’s goals are “to fulfill our responsibility to the business aviation community by providing a quality, safe product, and by conducting business in a manner that treats the customer with respect, honesty, and integrity.”

    Other key personnel include Kevin Sherman, Chief Inspector and Chief Financial Officer, Matt Foreman Systems Administrator, Sales Manager,Walt Ford, Rotable Shop.
